The MS6818 Professional Cable Tester and Metal Pipe Locator is an essential tool for detecting cables, electrical lines, and water or gas supply pipelines buried within walls or underground. With the ability to detect fuses and pinpoint current circuits, the MS6818 is also effective in finding interruptions and short circuits in floor heating systems. It can locate sockets and distribution points that may have been inadvertently covered by plaster.

Equipped with an integrated AC/DC voltmeter, the transmitter measures voltage ranges from 12V to 400V, providing clear readings of energy levels. Its easy-to-read screen displays vital information, including preset transmitting power, transmitted codes, battery energy levels, detected mains voltage, AC/DC status, and warning symbols for mains voltage.

Designed for user convenience, the transmitter features a self-inspection function that checks its operational status, displaying results on an LCD screen. The sensitivity of the receiver can be adjusted both manually and automatically to suit various detection needs. It also includes an automatic frequency sweep capability, and both the transmitter and receiver can operate in mute mode for discreet usage.

For those requiring expanded capabilities, additional transmitters are available to differentiate between multiple signals, ensuring enhanced versatility.

Specifications include a voltage measurement range of 12V-400V (AC/DC), an output signal frequency of 125KHz, and a cable depth measurement capability of up to 2.5 meters.
