These beautifully crafted maple burl wood blanks are perfect for creating unique and exquisite items. The material consists of stabilized maple burl wood, which offers distinctive patterns and textures due to its natural characteristics.
The stabilization process involves using epoxy resin to fill all internal voids and hollows, ensuring durability and enhancing the wood's beauty. Each burl wood piece is one-of-a-kind, showcasing its inherent individuality.
Our hand-made hybrid knife blanks are fully vacuum stabilized, pressure cast, and precision milled to within 1/16" of the specified dimensions. We take care to sand each blank to a smooth 220 grit and apply a protective lacquer finish on the book-matched face, which accentuates the vibrant color and intricate grain of the wood.
